Dream City Trip

The United States is one of the most geographically beautiful and culturally diverse countries in the world. I have spent pretty much my entire life in my little corner of this spectacular place. Abraham Lincoln said, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” I love this quote for a lot of reasons. We are living in a complicated geopolitical environment, but our 16th president reassures us that our united strength is stronger than any outside force. But, we are a house divided. Just watching the news, one will see we have lost our way as a nation. We are a country of love, compassion, generosity, and freedom. I want to turn off the fear mongering television and connect hearts with the real human beings that build this country.

Epic road trips are nothing new to young people and church to church travel is nothing new for Christians. As a Catholic millennial, I have a desire to see all of the archdiocese in the United States and as many diocese as are necessary to hit each of the 50 states. This, of course, is a life dream not an exact plan. But my hope is that by documenting my dreams on this blog, I will one day make it a reality and bring my readers along the journey with me. Here is my first post about the idea.
