Welcome to the book of Deuteronomy! It’s our final book in the Pentateuch and I feel both excited and a little sad about it. But here we go, week 1!
This post is all about the first week of Deuteronomy. Here you will find our reading plan and memory verse. My APPLY for the week will be about being a people set apart by God. I will post it on Wednesday, so be sure to subscribe to the blog!
If you haven’t picked up your copy of the workbook yet, you can download one here, or get it from Amazon here. You can check out YouTube to see what is included in the workbook and what to expect from the study.
Monday, September 10 Chapter 1
Tuesday, September 11 Chapter 2
Wednesday, September 12 Chapter 3
Thursday, September 13 Chapter 4
Friday, September 14 Chapter 5
As I said in one of the preview videos, I like to have posters of the memory verse as well as note cards around my house and my car to help me with the memory work. You can download a FREE 8.5″ x 11″ poster and a 3″ x 5″ card by clicking the image below.
Follow me on social media so we can connect and encourage one another on this journey. I am on all social media @TheGenFem. Use #TheGenFem or #BADDeuteronomy for Bible-A-Day so we can keep up with all the fun being done!
Share this study with your friends at Church or on your social media so we can all come together and share our faith and encourage one another. Uplifting one another is one ofthe most important things we can do in our faith.
I’ve written a devotional for the book of Deuteronomy. In it, I share reflections for each chapter of the book along with a memory verse, a contemplation question, and space to journal. If you’re interested in that book, check it out below!
In case you missed the preview I posted last week, you can check it out here. It is a good introduction to the study to help get you started by putting you in the right mindset for the book of Deuteronomy.
In case you couldn’t tell, I’m enthusiastic about this study and I’m pleased to be doing it on the blog with this community. I am here for you if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. I pray your first week goes well!
