Now that we have completed the book of Leviticus, it’s time to jump into Numbers. If you are doing these studies with me on the blog then you are probably just as excited as I am to be out of Leviticus. It was useful, but it was rough! There are some new things I’m excited to introduce in this study so let’s get started. We will begin the book of Numbers on July 16!
For those who are curious about my reflections through the book of Numbers, I am proud to present my first devotional! You can definitely go through it at the same time as this study. I’ve done a separate post about the devotional but a quick explanation of what it is: It’s my thoughts and musings throughout the book of Numbers. Each day has a bible verse, a short reading, and a journal question for you to contemplate. It would be a fantastic companion to this study.
I have always loved spending time in the Scriptures. I think it is the privilege and duty of the faithful to read God’s word regularly. While on earth we are called to unite ourselves to our Lord and live as closely as possible to the love of the Holy Trinity. We do this through Scripture reading, daily prayer, and connecting with our brothers and sisters in faith.
“Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ,” St. Jerome.
Because of my passion for scripture and brining it to others, I have written this Bible-A-Day series. On July 16, we will begin the book of Numbers. It is a refreshing change from the book of Leviticus, but we are still in the books of law. The big thing that we will see is beginning of the Israelites journey into the Promised Land. There will be a lot for us to learn. You can purchase the workbook here.
I’ve written a devotional for the book of Numbers. In it, I share reflections for each chapter of the book along with a memory verse, a contemplation question, and space to journal. If you’re interested in that book, check it out below!
Download the study. Read through the beginning of the ebook and check out the preview videos.
You’ll find at the beginning of the ebook:
– Introduction to the book of Leviticus
– Explanation of the bible study method we will use, called P.R.A.Y.
– A coloring chart for bible marking
– A page for each chapter of scripture for journaling
– A preview for each week with a memory verse and challenge
We will be doing this bible study here on the blog each week. Below is what a week will look like:
Sunday: I will share the resources for the week including a preview video and memory verse cards.
Wednesday: I will share my APPLY for the week.
