Welcome to our final week in the book of Exodus. Remember when we started, Moses killed that Egyptian? We have seen so much over these last 8 weeks. The Israelites have been through a lot and the Lord has been steadfast through it all. In our final week, the Israelites are finally following God’s instructions and are completing a holy space for him to dwell in their midst along their journey. Before I move on with this preview, I want to let you know that the book of Leviticus is coming up next. Subscribe, if you haven’t already, so you are up to date on the latest studies. My APPLY for this week is going to be about doing the work God has asked you do.

As I said in one of the preview videos, I like to have posters of the memory verse as well as note cards around my house and my car to help me with the memory work. You can download a FREE 8.5″ x 11″ poster and a 3″ x 5″ card by clicking the image below.
On Saturday, April 27 I will be going live in our private website to discuss our first week. During this time I will answer any questions you may have and discuss our readings. Join us at 8:30am CST.
Follow me on social media so we can connect and encourage one another on this journey. I am on all social media @TheGenFem. Use #TheGenFem or #BADExodus for Bible-A-Day so we can keep up with all the fun being done!
Share this study with your friends at Church or on your social media so we can all come together and share our faith and encourage one another. Uplifting one another is one ofthe most important things we can do in our faith.
Pretty much no one in my life understands this whole online bible study thing. There are some people that nod in confused acceptance of the whole thing, but no one quite gets it. I honestly feel this is the direction God has asked me to go in. I truly believe this is the place he has brought me and the mission he has asked me to fulfill. Lord knows he’s given me a lot of words, but also a little social anxiety, so internet community is brilliant!
Anyway, this week we see the Israelites step up their game. They donate a ton of resources to the building of the tabernacle and they all get to work on it together as a community. It’s amazing the work that can be accomplished with cooperation. Not just building a beautiful tabernacle, massive temple, or amazing church, but also putting a man on the moon.
One of the great beauties of our faith is the encouragement of community participation. There is a temptation for all of us, especially my generation, to be a little disconnected from our brothers and sisters. I’m pretty sure they have done studies about the social ineptitude of millennials. But it is in striving toward communal goals that we are able to do amazing things.
We see this week the Israelites are called to build a holy place to honor God. I believe I am called to write online bible studies to honor God. That’s why I’d like to share the opportunity for others to lead online small groups of our next study if they feel called. If this is something you would like to prayerfully consider, let me know. I’d be happy to share some information on this free opportunity.

This blog is my way of sharing my faith with the world. I want to show young people, being Catholic is amazing and that God loves them. To help me in my mission to share the gospel with teens and young adults, please prayerfully consider becoming a contributor. You can find out how here.
