I have always loved spending time in the Scriptures. I think it is the privilege and duty for the faithful to read God’s word regularly. While on earth we are called to unite ourselves to our Lord and live as closely to the love of the Holy Trinity. We do this through Scripture reading, daily prayer, and connecting with our brothers and sisters in faith.
“Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ,” St. Jerome.
I have created a program I call Bible-A-Day, and I’d like to start with the book of Genesis, as you can tell. Genesis is my favorite book of the bible, I have spent more time in the book of Genesis than any other book of scripture. I love it because it’s the first book, most misunderstood book, and one of the most important. I think if someone comes to a good understanding of Genesis, the rest of salvation history is more easily understandable.

For that reason, you can join our Facebook group at http://bit.ly/2nUd6Bw. There, we will share our thoughts as we read, verses that stood out to us, and answer any questions we may have.
Follow me on social media so we can connect and encourage one another on this journey. I am on all social media @TheGenFem. Use #BADGenesis for Bible-A-Day and #TheGenFem so we can keep up with all the fun being done!
